Burning freeze
Glaring wince
Blowing into any opening
Filling all angles
The flake is moving again…
We shield yet embrace the bite.
And like to smooth and feel
The frozen texture
change to silk,
To wood,
To stone,
Again to fallen down.
Displaced by breath.
Floating beauty.
Rejoicing arms held high.
Honoring sweet layers of icing
On our now silent earth.
